By Type of Inquiry

To ensure your message reaches the right person quickly, please mention the type of inquiry in your first line:

Requesting Family Assistance: Please specify the city you are in, the number of people, the ages of the children, and what the main need is right now.
Personal Inquiry to Anna: Write directly on WhatsApp. If you are already in touch with her, continue in the same chat.
Offering an Apartment: Specify the city, apartment size in sq.m., number of rooms, floor, whether there is an elevator, basic rent (Kaltmiete) and utilities (Nebenkosten), possible move-in date, and if the apartment is furnished. We will get back to you with a full explanation of the process.
Volunteering: Write how you can help, in which area, and what your availability is.
Equipment/Furniture Donation: Specify what you have, its condition, which city it is in, and whether you can assist with transportation.
Collaboration: Businesses, professionals, and service providers in the area are welcome to reach out via email.
Authorities & Organizations: Email is preferred for tracking and documentation purposes.
Media Inquiries: By email only. We are happy to talk, subject to the absolute protection of the families' privacy.
General Questions: Any question, big or small. If the answer lies with another entity, we will direct you to them.

What to Attach — and What Not To

A clear photo of an official letter you do not understand, or a copy of a document you need help deciphering.

No Need to Send

Identification documents, medical records, or financial information in the initial stage. If any of this is required later, we will ask explicitly and explain exactly why. Keep your privacy safe, even with us.

Response Times — Honestly

We are a group of volunteers, not a customer service call center. We try our best to reply on the same day, but on busy days, the response may arrive the following day. If you haven't received an answer within two days, please send a gentle reminder — sometimes a message simply gets buried.
